Malaysian Handicraft Centre
Also known as Kraftangan Malaysia of Chendering which are located just 600 meter from the famoust Floating Mosque is an interesting Handicraft Centre that showcase Songket ,brassware and Morden batik fashionwear. (I’m really surprise at the going on of the batik fashion wear industry that I almost gulp my drink when I saw a few famous celebrities wearing them at the last Oscar. trough the live telecast at ASTRO channel last moth.) Here you can find many Keris and woodcarving and other handicraft. The Malaysian Handicraft Centre offer a wide variety of Malaysian handicraft and also an insight into various craft making. Some of the exquisite items, which can be found here, are Songket, batik, vases and mats, hats, wallets and bags made from pandanus leaves. Visitor are also get a chance to witness first hand skills of local artisans in songket weaving, batik painting, basket weaving, etc.if You wish to find out more about the craft them Hop to State Museum in Losong. Besides being considered as the centre for handicraft and traditional textiles in Terengganu, beautiful beach of Chendering is a must visit for its famoust Floating Mosque, and Nasi Dagang or for picnicking, swimming, fishing, etc

The famous Nasi Dagang in Trengganu is also located at Chendering, so don't missed to try this local delicacy while you were here. The dishes is made by cooking plain rice and glutinous rice together with fresh coconut milk. The Nasi Dagang is eaten with its own specially made side dishes of tuna fish curry and a light pickled cucumber vegetable. Besides being considered as the centre for handicraft and no 1 ,traditional textiles in Terengganu, it will also be worthwhile to visit the beautiful beaches of Chendering.
